Burn fat by eating fewer calories. Your belly will flatten whether you do sit-ups or not. Another eternal myth: my muscles will turn to fat if I stop exercising. Muscle is muscle; fat is fat. One does not transform into the other. If you stop exercising you will lose muscle. Eat too much and you will gain fat.
