Two Sure Fire Ways to Gain Weight

Yesterday I happened to tune into National Geographic's "The Science of Obesity" Sumo Wrestlerwhen it was examining how sumo wrestlers keep their weight up.

Sumo wrestlers, whose sport depends upon their being big and, well, fat, employ time-tested techniques to help them bulk up.

The first is to eat no breakfast. Furthermore, their training regimen provides that they put in a super workout before eating anything and then waiting until late in the day to eat. The consequence is that the wrestlers build up an overwhelming hunger that induces them to overeat.

Judging by results, you'd say that the technique is effective.

The second is to eat a lot before going to bed. These calories, with no opportunity to be burned by activity, are naturally stored as fat. Another effective technique.

So if you are anxious to put on some fat, 1.) skip breakfast to stimulate the appetite; and 2.) eat lustily right before you go to bed to quickly and efficiently convert food to fat.
